The buildings are quick to assemble, detailed, and look great painted up. I sprayed the "inner" core in silvers and metalic dark blue, to look like windows. A coat of various greys on the outer frames, and I soon had 6 buildings ready for the kaiju. I added some quick roof details, and even changed the ground story main entry on a few for variety, and put two on a scratchbuilt concrete riser, as the buildings are the same height. A fantastic bargain, I wish Phalanx would come out with a version 2 soon.
These are a spectacular first buy when starting the game. They help fill out your city without breaking the bank account. They are significantly larger than the resin apartment building, but the two different designs do wonders for diversifying the look of your city. Bought two sets. Best decision I’ve made for filling out my city.
Look great and easy to build
Great buildings. Putting them together is simple and fairly straight forward with just glue (can use woodglue/elmers, they work) all for an awesome price. Sturdy enough that you can throw them at your opponent in a fit of rage and they won't break (don't do that, be a good sport) and nicely detailed. For individuals wondering, they are larger than the paper ones that come with the starter by ~3/4", which makes them a little taller than the monsters, but not tall enough to make them look overwhelming. Pesonally, even if you have buildings, get these as well to round out your city. Definitely well worth the money. More buildings to crush = more fun. On a side note, it is laser cut wood, so there's a scent of burnt wood that lingers on them. I don't mind, and it makes my giant monsters happy.
