Great details
I got these to use with the Blood and Valor game system. Three things really delighted me about this pack. It came in a great divided box that was heavy duty. Second, I hadn't see these minis before I bought them and I was blown away how finely detailed these minis were. The packs, rifles, and clothing are so amazing! These are going to look great painted up. There were some mould lines but very minimal and cleaned up quickly. There was a lot of variety of sculpts and typically there is just one piece per model to glue together then to the base, so assembly is very simple. As for Blood and Valor, its a streamlined simple system that is really tactical. I play a lot of Blood and Plunder and love that system, this is even more simple than that and tactically focused. It plays on 3x3 and the American's have really great special rules around rallies which make them resilient. Also, the infantry support gun that comes in the box is a beast! Really fun to use.

WWI US Army 1917-18 started Box
These are hands down the finest WWI Miniatures made to date. They are the first time that National Army Troops (The Draftee Divisions 77th, 78th, 79th, 80th, 82nd etc) have ever been portrayed in miniature. Previous Americans have all been Regular/National Guard/USMC armed with the 1903 Springfields. These figures are armed with 1917 rifles, Chauchats and VB Grenade launchers. The 37mm Gun has never been modeled in 28mm for Americans before and is a gem. The figures are exquisite. The 1910 haversacks need to be glued on, but the fit perfectly and give the figures a fuller profile than other cast Doughboys which seem flat compared to these. All around fabulous figures. the research clearly shows.

Amazing quality
These models look amazing. They're extremely faithful to the Great War uniforms, the Springfields actually look like Springfields, and each type of model has its own personality. I'm very happy with this purchase and will purchase all subsequent releases for the US Army and will most likely pick up a second army.
