Created as a Kill-Dozer, Mek-Quake was programmed for destruction. Drafted into the ABC Warriors against their better judgement, Mek-Quake's capacity for violence balanced his lack of wit and unreliable loyalty. With all his protocols worn down by centuries of violence, eventually he became too unstable. Hammerstein had him committed to Broadband Asylum for therapy and reprogramming.

This would prove disastrous, as Mek-Quake was instrumental in freeing Volkhan and other Volgan survivors of the Oil Wars from the asylum and in doing so unleashed the Volgan War on Mars. In the words of Mek-Quake himself “Big Jobs!”
